On Creating Inner Peace Through Creativity

Welcome, it's nice to have you here.

First off, I want to congratulate you on acknowledging Inner Peace and wanting it. Not a lot of people make it through that first step, so here I am taking a moment to say that I see you. That your desire for more inner peace is courageous, and I’m here on this journey with you.

Not as a Guru, or a Teacher, but as a soul tribal member welcoming you home.

It’s a unique calling to want to have Inner Peace without dissociating into an idea of it, but to really claim it by claiming all the sides of ourselves that show up on changing bases. Every shift you make, every evolution you move through, all of it is special, unique, and worth it.

This particular path you are on is one of Creativity, being an outlet for you to gain more access to that inner power within yourself, to stop time. Yes. Stop it. To build your capacity to show up to yourself, no matter who is showing up, and give yourself a moment to reflect, build something, create something, with what you have.

Creativity is the art form of the Human Language.

As a Tribe, we will be primarily focusing on using the Tool of Drawing, so we can collectively share a language together, and I promise you that what you gain within your relationship to your tool will start to show up in other areas in your life.

Your ability to see more clearly, more options, more potential paths will naturally start to open. Life will become sustainably easier, you will live a longer life, fuller, and peace will come to you externally as well.

Mainly because you are building your capacity to see more doorways open up for you.

So here’s the secret you have bought this transmission for: Pain, Suffering, and Internal conflict all come from the same thing: Believing at some point the only options we currently have in our hands. As infinite creators, it’s like cutting ourselves off from our life force energy, and shrinking ourselves to the size of wherever we are, and believing it. Believing that reality.

We do this to survive. Survival. It is a survival mechanism to disconnect from other options, other potentialities, other realities where more of us can exist in any given moment.

How does this happen? It starts when we are young. When we have a rush of energy moving through us—life force—leading us to go play. Leading us to go and experiment with particular colors, see a specific thing, dance even, perhaps look at nature. To build a connection based on inspiration. As children, we have an unlimited drive for inspiration. It feeds us. It feeds our Spirit. I would say it’s more important than food, shelter, and the “necessary things” that we are told we need for our basic human survival. Inspiration is deeper than that, and something we are all in need of reclaiming to regain a sense of spiritual health.

What ends up happening is, we live in an environment that can’t hold that inspiration. Overworked parents, emotionally drained adults, people stuck on the hamster wheel and falling into the belief that the only thing important and worthy of our attention is that we have a roof over our heads, food in our bellies, and we will never have to starve ever again.

People numb up, and pass on that numbness onto children. Because children’s ability to feel inspiration may trigger their own inability to feel that inspiration. It may seem scary, frightening, to want more than what you already have. So it’s shunned, you are forced to focus your beliefs into things that are acceptable, and your inspiration over time then needs to go through a much smaller hole versus this overflowing, abundant state of living an inspired life.

This is the moment where we start to let go of ourselves and believe other people. Where we start to shut that inner child out and force ourselves to become survivors. No time or energy for anything else.

This is what starts to create this suppression within us that bubbles up in distorted ways: Anger, confusion, doubt, internal conflict. Wanting something, but there being a wall that keeps us away from it, focusing our eyes to look at only what has been pre-approved, pre-certified as survival guaranteed.

Inner Peace comes when we start to let this life force energy move through us, and we start massaging open our sight to look at something else.

Not needing a reason why, but massaging the dexterity of our eyes to shift from such a strong focus on survival, into more options: Thriving, Inner Peace, Expression.

The path to inner peace, through creativity, is a path of expression. Of creating our own inner language to show ourselves that we can, no matter what’s going on in the outside. Not needing a teacher to show us, or a Guru, mainly because over time that creates the same shrinkage of possibilities available to you. That muscle doesn't get to grow, that’s connected to your eye, to see more possibilities.

The more creative life you allow yourself to live, for yourself, I guarantee you, the more inspirational ideas will come to you. That moment you’re at your job and that idea comes in during that meeting of how to better improve things. You have no idea where it came from, but you feel it, and you felt that urge within you to express it. You becoming the channel, wherever you are, to voice and express that thing that isn’t being expressed, whether you’re conscious of it or not. Creativity is the access to an infinite amount of doorways. The practice, the tool of drawing, builds your strength and dexterity to tune into the feeling that best serves your expression, your language, what wants to move through you and its particular flavor of expression: Your style, your voice.

And from there, then a Creatively Aligned Heart, where your mind, over time, begins to understand that you aren’t limited by the clock that’s ticking, but that your life becomes a canvas for you to paint on. Your Creative Heart, the voice moving through your sketches in life. And your ability to move just about anywhere, no matter where you are, is infinite. In that moment, you have embodied a level of internal peace that no one can take from you.

That is my prayer for you. Love you.
