The First Iteration

The First Iteration was never meant to be the final masterpiece.It was also never meant to be hated, brought guilt, pushed down, and thrown away like nothing.

The last couple of weeks, I've been going through this big evolution. So big, I've noticed so much of my own language transforming. The desire to release the spiritual.The talk of Spirit.

Not from lack of spirit, but from the codes behind it. The attachment to words, to point to something, that felt so obvious.

Art, for me, is the golden ticket, that lets all human beings, observe, see, the same thing, without that thing, being the same.The ability to obverse, and step into a realm, through the art.The Artist, the transformer. The soul brave enough to offer their process to the world. Selfishly, for themselves.

Every single one of you, are here, reading this, because you are an Artist.

To be human, is to be an artist.

And the main reason why many don't let themselves touch themselves in this way (no pun intended) is because of the fear of the first iteration.

The fear of how 'bad' that first brush stroke will look like.How 'ugly' that first stroke of a pencil will be.

How unerasable it can be. Even as you try your best, to erase the imprint your pencil has made onto the page, the paper.It can never be erased.

I'm sharing this, not to scare you, but to lighten the heaviness you might still be carrying. Around having a first iteration of something you've been carrying with you, that you may have dismissed for something shinier.

To where you are now.

The talents you have.

Where you have 'succeeded' into.

Behind that 'success'The First Iteration awaits.

Beaming into your soul.

With its eyes.

Seeing you.

Even if you refuse to see it.
